Here are a few of the hundreds of diver duck pics that I took in Feb. on Lake Michigan. My son, Hunter, and I spent a couple of hours photographing some of the local birds that visit this time of year. The channel stays open from ice and provides a safe haven off the big lake for the birds. We get a lot of bluebills (scuap), goldeneyes, bufflehead, and mergansers. I have pics of canvasbacks, scoters, and redheads as well.
